Abstract

The present project proposes an international internship of the fellowship student Felipe Merker Castellani in the Centre for Research in Computer Science and Music Creation (Centre de recherche Informatique et Création Musicale, CICM) of the University Paris 8/ House of Man's science (Maison des Sciences de l'Homme -Paris Nord) both located in the commune of Saint-Denis, north of Paris. The main project is developed under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Silvio Ferraz Mello Filho in the Graduate Program in Music of the University of Campinas (UNICAMP), in the research area 'Music, language, Sonology'. The study object of this research is the three paradigms of musical creation defined by François Delalande, the paradigms of speech, of writing and of electroacoustic. The main objective is to define the inter-connections between the different paradigms of music production and their compositional particularities. Another central subject is the extension of these connections to other means of the artistic expression, such as video, dance and the theater, as presented in the recent works of Georges Aperghis and Thierry De Mey. Besides the analytical and theoretical axis, the project also proposes a compositional practice experience that will allow the complementation of aspects worked during the first axis. (AU)
