Abstract

In order to complement the current research, the internship intends to study the relationship between cinema and television mediated by the French State. Based on this analysis, it will be raised common points with the proposed ANCINAV project in Brazil in 2004. The understanding of the cultural policy model adopted by the country that is a world reference in this subject will help in the interpretation of the cultural policy adopted in Brazil during the preparation of the ANCINAV project, in the analysis of this project's proposals and in the identification of the changes that it would make to the audiovisual environment. This study will lead to the verification of the hypothesis that the Brazilian project was inspired by the French model when its proposals of integration between cinema and television were being drawn up. Considering the different socio-economic realities of these two countries and analyzing the current effectiveness of the adopted measures in France, it will be possible to point out if they would be applicable in Brazil. It will be realized, therefore, the deepening of the question concerning the state mediation in the audiovisual field and the incorporation of the obtained results in the final writing of the dissertation.
