Abstract

This research aims to analyze the productive spatial circuit and cooperative circles of wines with protected designation of origin from producing region of Castilla y León. Seek further, noting the particularities, we aim to organize a comparative analysis between the productive spatial circuit and cooperation circles of wines with certified provenance coffees and the Geographical Indication that we are researching (noting the many similarities between the mode of production of these two types of beverages). The main proposal is to analyze the material flows (grapes, raw material, inputs etc.) established between different production stages geographically separated (true production, exchange, distribution and consumption) and the relationships among different agents, in order to analyze the organization and regulation of the production of quality wines with certified provenance. This is to verify the greater or lesser vulnerability that small producers of grapes and wines linked to the Protected Designation of Origin are submitted compared to producers of specialty coffees with Indicação de Procedência from Serra da Mantiqueira do Estado de Minas Gerais, observing the attribution of greater identity and autonomy to small producers.
