Abstract

This project is dedicated to developing a web interface for teaching / learning of animals phraseologisms units of Portuguese and Frenc. It is believed that the instrumentalization of students and teachers with interactive tools can have a positive impact on the communicative competence of speakers of foreign languages, because they bring together in the same space, means for the development of many skills. The implementation of this virtual platform supports the great modern trend to digitize and automate processes previously developed in a classical way. Methodologically, our support is in constructs related to Phraseology, Lexicography and Pedagogical Lexicography as the precepts of Computational Linguistics. During this project, we intend to expand the BD-FraZoo, database of animals phraseologisms created during the Masters in Portuguese-French, with the increase of new phraseological units in French-Portuguese, games, exercises, images and audio. In this context, it is possible to observe two fronts of action: one is linguistic, that researches, gathers and analyzes the phraseological units, and another is computational, which deals with data and programming. Both phases supervised and analyzed by Linguistic Studies.
