Abstract

The objectives of this study are to evaluate the effect at different doses in the initial development of the culture of sugar cane (commercial varieties and new releases), and study the absorption and translocation of herbicides through the application of radiolabeled molecules. The first part will be developed at the Centro de Ciências Agrárias (CCA-UFSCar) with varieties RB835054, RB855156, RB867515, RB966928, RB975157, RB975201, RB975952 and RB985476 with randomized design and 3 replications as a greenhouse where vessels are filled with clay soil and herbicide application diclosulam, imazapic, imazapyr and metsulfuron methyl and sulfometuron in mixture with diuron and hexazinone (this last PSII inhibitors) will be pre-emergence at rates of 0, 0.5, 1 and 2 times the recommended rate. Evaluations of phytotoxicity, leaf area, stem diameter will be at 7, 15, 30, 45, 60 and 90 days after emergence (DAE), in the last evaluation biomass (roots and shoots) will be determined. The second experiment will be performed at the Laboratório de Ecotoxicologia do Centro de Energia Nuclear na Agricultura (CENA / USP), using the varieties that have higher tolerance in the first experiment. Be used clay pots containing soil, wherein the surface layer is contaminated sulfometuron and diuron radiolabeled with 14C. The design is a randomized block and 10 repetitions to evaluate the absorption and translocation of two herbicides by autoradiography, and the amount of herbicide will be evaluated by grinding the material, dividing the plant shoots, roots and oarlock. The periods evaluated are 1, 5, 10, 15 and 20 (DAE). (AU)
