Abstract

The three months internship it is proposed in Portugal in the cities of Lisbon and Coimbra with the goal of establishing contact with research groups and academic discussion, as well as with the works belonging to the cities' libraries and Portuguese documentation from the second half of the 18th century and the first half of the 19th century. Such activities are linked to the master's project financed by FAPESP, with the process number 2012/17881-7. The supervision will be made by Professor Dr. Pedro Carim, who belongs to the History Department faculty from the Universidade Nova de Lisboa and he is also a member from the History Center Além-Mar (CHAM) direction. The research in Lisbon will be done in the Lisbon National Library and in the "Torre do Tombo" Archive. There will be still the participations in CHAM's activities, especially in the Permament Seminaries about History of Brazil. In Coimbra, the library and the Archive from Universidade de Coimbra will be attended. In the last month of internship the results from the research in this country will be shared through a public communication in Lisbon. (AU)
