Abstract

The research aims to investigate the liberal communitarian debate on the relationship between liberal principles and conceptions of good. This theme unfolds in three secondary lines. 1) Possible misunderstandings among authors participating in the mentioned debate. 2) Possible consequences for the question of "democratic ethos". 3) Assuming the existence of a connection between liberal political principles and notions of the "good life", a critical evaluation of the conceptions of liberalism associated with liberalism.
