Abstract

The economy expansion of Brazilian companies through internationalization have became evident, since 90's, but it was mainly in the last decade that the outflow of direct investment started to get greater importance. And this activity started to include the dispute by Brazilian companies of global leadership in their acting areas, include the major coverage of process in accordance to companies and sectors and to include the changes in strategies etc. Moreover, there also was the major strategies diversification of internationalization in developed markets and more geographically far. This can be noted with the increase of participation from 9% in 2001 to 36% in 2011 of Brazilian direct investments in more developed market like Europe, North America (mainly) and Asia (in relation to the total of Brazilian Direct Investment). The main objective of this research is to analyze the internationalization process of Brazilian companies in markets of Europe and North America. In a specific way it is looked for knowing the acting profile of these businesses, related to actuation segments and strategies used by them to the reach of these markets. This research will use qualitative approach, of documentary descriptive feature, analyzing the 10 companies of major regionality index in the North America and Europe regions. The results will be analyzed and worked through descriptive means. (AU)
