Abstract

This research project aims to describe the concessive clauses of peninsular Spanish spoken introduced by prototypic conjunction "aunque" under the theoretical apparatus Functional Discourse Grammar developed by Hengeveld and Mackenzie (2008). From the theoretical postulates, we intend to investigate in which levels and layers in which these clauses can be constituted and if there is to be preferred. Consequently, the objective is to analyze what are the morphosyntactic, semantic, and pragmatic characteristics of these prayers. The importance of this research is to contribute to the descriptive studies of Spanish spoken and test the applicability of the model of Functional Discourse Grammar, contributing to its advancement.(AU)
