Abstract

This project describes a collaborative research proposal between Prof.Monica Cotta s group from UNICAMP and Prof. Erik Bakkers s group from Eindhoven University of Technology (TUE). In this joint work, we intend to measure the thermoelectric properties of nanostructures using device fabrication technology developed at TUE/Eindhoven. Such devices will be used to measure electronic and thermal properties in InP and InAs semiconductor nanowires with specific structural features, such as diameter oscillations and twinning superlattices. The nanowires will be grown at UNICAMP, while devices and low temperature measurements will be carried out at Eindhoven University of Technology, The Netherlands. (AU)
