Abstract The present study aims to contribute to the investigation of the determinants of a quality education. Our contribution in this matter is a survey that relates principals turnover among public schools with student performance. We are going to analyze the results of the "Prova Brasil" and apply a methodology whose differential is the use of an instrument for the variable of principals turnover(the shift of partiesin elections for mayor), which aims to solve the endogeneity problems existing in this type of study. | |
