Abstract

Build computational models of the cell cycle control, mitogen activation and inflammationrelated pathways using differential equations and stochastic models. It is expected that the models fit and predict well the experimental (wet lab) and literature data. The fellowship candidates will have solid knowledge in computer science or probability and statistics and must be eager to learn the molecular biology and biochemistry involved. Phase 1 (years 1-2): Build simple models. Phase 2 (years 3-4): Connect the models. Phase 3 (year 5): Enhance the models.
