Abstract

This research proposes think the dramaturgy in its broad sense, ie disconnected from the classical understanding that restricted its meaning to the text. The study therefore considers the fabric and construction of meaning proposed by a work and creative process that surrounds it. The theme cropping occurs in the setting of independent contemporary dance located in Brazil, analyzing differences and recurrences in poetics of choreographers recognized by an authorial aesthetic vocabulary, including the artwork of this author. It is intended to look at the productions in dance with a focus on dramaturgy and its relationship with the creative process, understanding that both walk together. The first theoretical reference is on the concepts of criticism of the creative process developed by researcher Cecilia Almeida Salles and the ideas about dramaturgy developed by Ana Pais. The hypotheses emerge from the analysis of current artistic practices to then build bridges with the approaches of researchers who discuss the features of contemporaneity as Hans-Thies Lehman, Nicolas Bourriaud and Hans Ulrich Gumbrecht.
