Abstract

The effects of phototherapy has been widely studied by some research group. We know that there are positive results with light application to improve muscle performance and delay fatigue. However, there are few studies showing its' effects on muscular training. Therefore, the aim of this study is to assess the acute effects of phototherapy applied in different moments together muscular training. For such, phototherapy will be applied together training protocol, that will last 4 weeks and will be assessed peak torque through the test of maximal voluntary contraction (MVC), 1 repetition maximum, and dominant thigh perimetry. These evaluations will be performed prior to start the training, and repeated at the end of protocol.
