Abstract

The effects of phototherapy has been widely studied by some research groups. We know that there are positive results with light application to improve muscle performance and delay fatigue. However, there are few studies showing its´ effects on muscular training. Therefore, the aim of this study is to assess the effects of phototherapy applied at different times. For such, we proposed two types of training to assess the effects of phototherapy applied at different times. The training will last 12 weeks and will be assessed peak torque through the test of maximal voluntary contraction (MVC) in isokinetic dynamometer, 1 repetition maximum, bilateral thigh perimetry and blood analyses of IL-6.
