Abstract

The goal of the experiment is to evaluate the effect of blood plasma in performance and productivity of sows and the implications of its use on their progeny. The experiment will be conducted at experimental farm of the University of Sao Paulo, Pirassununga campus, where they will be used 24 females of the same age calving, distributed in a randomized block design with four treatments (0, 3, 6 and 9 kg / ton inclusion of plasma dehydrated) where the experimental unit is a nut. After calving, as measures of performance and productivity nut, number of piglets, weaning weight, weaning interval / cio, swab for bacteriological examination of stool analysis of immunoglobulin IgG, Nitrogen Plasma, Glucose, Albumin, Total Protein, Triglycerides, Total Cholesterol , HDL cholesterol, alkaline phosphatase, gamma-glutamyl transferase, aspartate aminotransferase, nonesterified fatty acids, beta-hydroxybutyrate, will be analyzed. The second part of the experiment will be generated with the progenies. The piglets after weaning at 21 days of age, receive the same diets with plasma that sows receive during the gestation and lactation. The number of animals used for each treatment will depend on the number of animals born, which are equally divided into groups and replicates. The variables used to verify the results in piglets are performance characteristics, incidence of diarrhea, gut morphology, economic evaluation of diets in the initial phase and analysis of immunoglobulin IgG. The third part involves the experimental search for an answer in animal performance during the slaughter and carcass evaluation performed by the system SEUROP. Data from the experiment will be analyzed using the SAS (Statistical Analysis System).
