Abstract

Using layer -by-layer technique will be manufactured nanostructured films composed of polyaniline (PAni), polycation, and Wall Carbon Nanotube Functionalized with Carboxylic Acid Multiple (MWNT - COOH), polyanion. The films are deposited onto solid substrates (quartz and ito) through physical adsorption via electrostatic attraction. The nanocomposite material has been characterized by spectroscopic techniques such as UV - Vis, FTIR and Raman spectroscopy , electrochemical ( cyclic voltammetry , square wave voltammetry ) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). This work was the subject of the dissertation Juliana Souza in 2011 at UFScar. In this project we will continue this study for the application of these films in sensors and phenol derivatives determining the analytical parameters that were not made in the dissertation. The best conditions for the production of films ( architecture, number of bilayers, analysts concentration, temperature, etc.) will be investigated in order to obtain the best sensor.
