Abstract

This project exposes the issues that shape a stage of our master research to be developed during a research stage at Université Paris 8. Continuing the analyzes conducted to date on the criticism of Michel Foucault to philosophical modernity, that is, to their deployment, in anthropological disposition of modern knowledge, as an "analytic of finitude", we propose an investigation into how the theoretical project of archeology, as it is held in Les mots et les choses, escapes from this disposition. Aiming thus emphasize the critical dimension of archeology, we hypothesized that, in Les mots et les choses, the analysis of the fundamental disposition of modern knowledge presents a conception of time with which archeology operates (in so far as it makes a history of knowledge) and at the same time, allows us to deepen our understanding of Foucault's critique of Anthropology.
