Abstract

In this work we seek to define, with the Institutional Discourse Analysis (Guirado, 2000, 2010, 2012), what conception of "contemporary subject" is found in some prominent authors in the current psychoanalytic field. We seek, in this definition, which "truths" these authors produce about these subjects, what are their strengths and weaknesses, characteristics and ways of being that are assigned to them. The texts were selected by the criteria of thematic relevance and impact capacity on psychoanalytic field, according to the criteria of belonging to the dominant trends in psychoanalysis today dealing with the question of the subject. IDA as a methodology and thinking strategy will allow us, in this design, point out marks (often unknown) left by the psychoanalytic theory in the truths produced about this subjectivity. Understanding speech in its pragmatic dimension as presented by Maingueneau (1997), we comprehend speech as configured according to the place assigned to the one who speaks (utterer) and to the one for/about one's speaks (co-utterer). By hypothesis arising from the method, we could say that such conceptions effects reverberate in everyday clinical practice, for the place that the theory has in it. Thus, this research aims mediately to the clinic in it's exercise. (AU)
