Abstract

This research aims to study and analise the journalistic aproach of the newspaper A Notícia, printed in São José do Rio Preto, during 1950's, seeking to trace its editorial profile, identifying the concepts of journalism and the use of thecniques from that period. The 1950's entered the history of journalism as a time when concepts such as objectivity, neutrality and professionalism entered in practice. (AU)
