This project aims to determine which contributions in the use of educational games as a teaching resource for the acquisition of literacy and literacy in the early years of elementary school. For this, we intend to conduct a literature search on the topic, identifying what has been published in articles, dissertations and theses in the last ten years and the possibilities of using this feature in order to provide a more meaningful and playful learning students ensuring their learning processes. As a complementary objective of the research is intended to examine the records of a teacher about the play activities that were applied to her in a room the first year of primary education in a public school of the city of Rio Claro / SP in 2013, and participated in the formation of the National Pact for Literacy at the right age. It is hoped that this research, which better understand the contributions of the use of games for the feasibility of the literacy process.
