Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the understanding of dentists (CDs) about the process of work and relationships of the healthcare team with the Oral Health Technicians (TSBs) and assistant in Oral Health Team (ASBs). Dentists worked to the public service in the city of Campinas, included in teams of the Family Health Strategy or not, will be invited to participate in the study. Data will be collected through structured and self-administered questionnaires, with the questions for vocational training and knowledge of legal duties and limitations of performance of dental auxiliary staff. The instrument was based on the Federal law nº11.889/2008, in the paragraph 460/1975 of the Federal Board of Education, and Resolution nº63/2005, the Federal Council of Dentistry. After the collection, we hope to understand how results on the suitability or not of the tasks according to the assistant staff, to the Federal Law nº 11.889/2008. In view of the routine work in the city to be based mostly in teams of mode I, it is expected that the duties of the ASB are more consistent with the law. The results were help to improve the training courses for dentists and dental assistants. (AU)
