Abstract
The National Curriculum Guidelines predict the formation of general nurses, with technical, political, ethical and human competence to act in practice in different fields. This fact increases the responsibility and commitment of the institutions of higher learning in training professionals to meet the demands of the labor market and Brazilian Health System, as well as reinforce the need to develop follow-up studies of graduates contributing to know the reality of these professionals, their work context and other relevant changes in the workplace.
