Abstract

This present scientific initiation research project is part of a research project titled "Development of ECT Sensor for Preliminary Verification and Monitoring of Corrosion Processes in Reinforced Concrete Structures", submmited to FAPESP in may, 05, 2014, grant number 2014/08797-8. This project aims to collect subsidies for the development of a technique of nondestructive testing based on Eddy Current Testing (ECT), for verification of corrosion processes on steel rods immersed in reinforced concrete structures.The Electrical Engineering student, Felipe Matos da Silva should be part of the team that will execute this project, working in the development and implementation of electrical and electronic circuits needed for the construction of the electromagnetic sensors which should be used in laboratory tests. In addition, the student may collaborate in activities carried out by other members of the group, enhancing his experience in other areas of the research.
