Abstract

In this project we propose the study of the quantum turbulence fenomena in a two species Bose-Einstein Condensate (BEC), sodium (23Na) and potassium (41K), with tunable interactions. A new experiment is being biult in which the inter-species interaction can be tunned via the Feshbach ressonances technique. Obtained the BEC some initial studies in order to characterize the ressonances between 23Na and 41K will be done since no other experimental characterization exists in the literature. After that, the creation of vortex with the stirring technique and its evolution to the quantum turbulence regime in a two-species Bose-Einstein Condensate will be fully studied. (AU)
