The objective of this research is to analyze and quantify practices performed their results through environmental and economic gains generated from the use of reverse logistics in the retail market. To achieve the proposed objective the study will be conducted in the cities of Tupã and Marília along with two supermarkets in each city to compare quantities and types of waste that is collected by means of reverse logistics. To achieve the expected results will be used Wuppertal method to measure quantitatively how the company ceases to pollute the environment. To point out the economic advantages, the financial results will be compared to a net profit and turnover of retailers that are objects of study.
