Abstract

This study is basing analytically in bioecological of development referential and tries to understand multilevel factors related to bullying behavior at school among adolescents. The objective is to know and analyze the relationship between the quality of family interactions and adolescent involvement in the practice of school bullying, from the perspective of teenagers. The bullying, international nomenclature which is recognized by one of the types of school violence constitutes a public health problem multidetermined and complex. The phenomenon is characterized by intentionality, repeatability over time and the apparent imbalance of power between those involved in the violence. The state of the art on the themes investigated was constructed from searches in the databases Web of Science, PsycoInfo, PubMed and Lilacs, and SciELO virtual library. The review comprised 61 studies and identified significant evidence linking bullying to experiences within the family, which may be protective or risk factors involvement in the phenomenon. In the research field to be developed, the pivot axes of the work will be explored in a cross-sectional population based approach are used as methodological triangulation. Data collection will take place in a city in Minas Gerais, in seven public and state schools, and all students, ages 10 and 19, the morning shift from these schools will be invited to participate in the study. In data collection will be utilized Victimization Scales of Aggression Peer (EVAP), Quality Scale Family Interaction (EQIF) and semi-structured interviews. The scales are validated, published and there is authorization of the authors for their use in research. The reference methodology will be the Hermeneutics of Dialectic, which subsidize the analyzes and interpretations of the data. The research project has been approved by Committee for Research Ethics EERP/USP. It was also planned to sandwich an internship in Italy, lasting 12 months. The study will extend the understanding of bullying and incorporate analyzes that could subsidize health practices, policies and strategies for coping with the issue. (AU)
