Abstract

In this project, we want to apply the results obtained in master's and doctoral degree by this candidate and unite them to apatite and zircon thermochronometers for use in conjunction. For this, we performed a field in the state of Pernambuco on a geological fault of great extent, the Pernambuco Lineament. Furthermore, it is intended to obtain age of U-Pb zircon sample region. And with that, get information from the crystallization of zircon collected rock and with fission tracks on the formation of the geological fault. Following the strategy currently adopted by the Group of Chronology UNICAMP, will also be an attempt to obtain ages of fission track without the use of nuclear reactors. Also, is proposing an internship abroad to get experience in studying the latent track with the techniques of transmission electron microscopy and small-angle X-ray scattering. (AU)
