Abstract

In this work we propose the preparation of the composite electrodes based on graphite and polyurethane resin of vegetable origin and derived from petroleum, in the voltammetric determination of fluoxetine. The main advantage of polyurethane resin is its high hydrophobicity, which is an advantage over other composites described in the literature, among which exhibit swelling in aqueous medium. Os electrodes made with the polyurethane resin derived from vegetable origin and derived from petroleum will be compared to verify if there are differences in the responses of the electrodes, when changing the binder.
