Abstract

The concern with the issue of PPCPs and their adverse effects to both the environment and to humans and animals caused various studies and research would focus on this issue. This study will be done to determine the optimal chromatographic conditions for analyzing benzophenone-3 in samples of river water. Samples will be prepared using the method of solid phase extraction and determination of the analyses of interest will be made by means of modern liquid chromatography with diode array detector (HPLC-DAD). Then the validation of the methods will be applied; being the main parameters evaluated in chromatographic analyzes: specificity / selectivity, linearity, limit of detection (LOD), limit of quantification (LOQ), accuracy, precision (repeatability) and robustness. Will be made after the application of the method validated in samples from rivers in São Carlos.
