Diversified biostimulators effects of low intensity laser radiation have been evaluated involving bone repair, in particular, the acceleration of bone's regeneration. The aim of this study is to evaluate in vivo the influence of low power laser's application on bone's remodeling process after tooth extraction, through microscopic descriptive analysis and immunohistochemistry. A total of 60 young male adults rats of Wistar lineage (Rattus norvegicus albinos) randomly will be divided into two groups: one Control and one Experimental. Each of the two groups will be subdivided according to the time of sacrifice after tooth extraction in six new groups: 1 dia; 2 dias; 3 days; 5 days; 7 days; 10 days. In the Control Group will be performed only extraction of right upper first molars. In the Experimental Group, in addition to the extraction of right upper first molars, the site will be irradiated with therapeutic low intensity diode As-Ga-Al laser, daily once a day, during 3 consecutive days. The animals on both groups will be euthanized, and dental hemiarch previously subjected to tooth extraction were identified, and for fixation immersed in 10% buffered formalin by 48hrs. Then, the pieces will be prepared according to the routine histotechnical procedures.
