Abstract

The society is to take ownership and to transform the geographical space that has caused successive aggression's from the natural environment, compromising their ability to regenerate the human time scale. Therefore this project seeks to discuss the contradictions arising from the relationship between society and nature from the in-depth study of the causes and consequences of erosion in a spatial area in the municipality of Regente Feijó/SP, showing thus the historical, social and natural process have contributed or caused the current situation of soil erosion in rural properties in this area. From there, work in partnership with some landowners in order to implement of barriers made with bamboo and woven jute for the control of linear erosion's such as ridges and ravines, because of its low cost and ease of implementation. Also, collect soil samples of erosion where the barriers are for verification of textural features fitted as well as monitor the erosive dynamics using graded stakes. Finally, produce with the help of landowners the document synthesis to easily understand, which can serve as a manual of successful practices for coping with erosion's in rural areas. (AU)
