Abstract

This research is to investigate the dramaturgical construction of Rodrigo García - playwright, director and set designer, born in Argentina in 1964 and settled in Spain, where he keeps his work with the group La Carnicería Teatro since 1989. The analysis will be made from the perspective of performative theatre and performativity - concepts developed by Josette Féral and Érika Fischer-Lichte, respectively - with focusing on the performativity of dramaturgy as proposed construction of embodiment, considering the double condition of the actor while producer and theatricality channel. Printed materials, videos and interviews with the playwright and actors of the group La Carnicería Teatro will be analyzed, in addition to bibliography of the research. The research will be conducted with a phenomenological approach, which is going to be an tacit content analysis, considering the experiences of those involved in the creation processes surveyed, focusing on understanding the dramaturgical resources that can be motivators/proponents of the presence status of the actor on the scene.
