Abstract

This research will be conducted in Risaralda/Colombia, department located in the central sector of the Andean West-Central region of the country. The majority of the municipalities conserve primary activity as planting, harvesting and export of coffee than in the past represented the most important sector of the economy; this habitat historically created from endogenous processes inherent to social construction of territory, becoming what is conventionally denominated the coffee cultural landscape, and includes both rural and urban areas. The main objective of this research is to understand the main transformations of the landscape in the coffee territory of Risaralda, between 1991 and 2013, trying to generate subsidies for the construction of an integrated management of the coffee landscape from their settings as urban-rural habitat. For this study will be proposed teh integrated/systemic method by Leonel Mora Vega (2001) since a territorial approach, in a holistic analysis for a comprehensive of cultural landscape and the different impacts associated. The intent is supporting the territory integration, taking into account the activities and experiences from various actors involved. (AU)
