Abstract

The poultry production has sought the optimization of animal production. For this reason, the mathematical modeling is an essential tool to achieve greater control and production planning, tailored to different feeding conditions, market and economic interests. So, plan experiments is one of the most important phases of scientific research. With this, the objective of this study is to evaluate the effect of electrolyte balance to optimize the performance of broilers supplemented with phytase and apply the full factorial to adjust response surfaces.The experiment will be conducted with 360 birds of Cobb 500 and the treatments will be made of diets with electrolyte balance of 250 mEq / kg and combinations of levels of electrolyte ratio (RE) and phytase. Distributed in a completely randomized factorial 3 x 3 (0, 1000 and 1000 FTU / kg of phytase and 2, 3, 4 for RE), the birds will be housed in 36 boxes (4 replicates of 10 birds per plot ). With this experiment will be possible to assess the full factorial to estimate a response surface. Will be measured performance data, weight gain, feed intake, feed conversion, carcass yield and percentage of abdominal fat as well as the feasibility of using the factorial design to optimize experiments with broiler and adjust response surfaces.
