Abstract

The present project of research has with objective know the trajectory realized by children and teens, users of Public Health System in a paulista city in the south-west, from their conditions of ingress in the system until the definition of therapeutic procedure, with special attention to the determinants factors of the prescription of psychotropic drug, specifically in situations wherein the diagnosis are determined how case of Attention Deficit Disorder and Hyperactivity. So, the present research intends to gather data in the records of users of Public Health System for contribute with new discussions about the process of psycho-pathologization of life and education and to propose reflections about possibilities of strategies with intent to overcome the high prescription of drugs that are many times the only alternative of care and treatment of childhood considered problem.
