Abstract

The aiming of this research is to analyze working and living conditions of young workers in commerce of a department store in São Paulo. In order to do it, we choose workers in C&A as the object of our research. This project is proposed to identify, at first, the "nature" of the employment in the commerce sector, wage relations and management of workers. Secondly, we will describe the sociological profile of young workers in commerce and the relation between work and study, leisure and personal life. Finally, we will try to outline aspects of workers' health and analyze their desires and expectations towards personal and professional life. (AU)
