Abstract

We present a proposal for a study of dynamics of neural networks. We will study a neural network modeled by a cellular automaton.The network will be separated into two layers and we will realise a study of dynamic range, considering electrical and chemical synapses. The project also includes the study of dynamics networks using the Hodgkin-Huxley model. This way, we will investigate the effects of synaptic plasticity on the dynamical behaviour of the neural network. Moreover, we will also study the synchronization and no synchronization according to connections among the neurons, the dependence on the architecture and the influence of external perturbations.
