Abstract

This research project proposes an implementation of maximum power point tracking via the Thevenin equivalent obtained via measurements with DC-DC boost converter. The DC-DC converter will be controlled with a classical PID controller, widely used in industry. The work addresses an important topic of engineering, introducing the student to techniques of control and power electronic applications, important to further develop his skills in laboratory practice and simulations.
