Abstract

With advancing technology and changes merged into medical practice in recent decades, the physical examination remains of paramount importance for the diagnosis and their learning is extremely important in medical education. Under the gynecology workup is especially sensitive for both inexperienced students as to the woman being examined. Furthermore, ability to workup gynecology is one of the requirements of graduation in medicine and the use of techniques and classification of POP-Q (pelvic organ prolapse quantification) is one of the tools to improve care by medical student being of your imperative learning suitable for future doctors. Objective: To evaluate the ability to genital prolapse analysis of fifth graders graduate of Medicine, the School of Medicine after training in gynecology ward of the Hospital São Paulo thus intends to verify the inter-examiner agreement (students and teacher ) a classification exam (POP-Q) to describe genital prolapse and also serve as a basis for simulators development studies aimed at medical training, with the aim of improving and reducing the cost of medical education in Brazil. Methods: Observational and propective study, with evaluation of learning in urogynecology by students of the fifth year of Medicine, Escola Paulista de Medicina - UNIFESP, with questionnaire and conducting POP-Q rating undergraduate students before and after stage in gynecological ward. Expected results: After training it is expected that students who have training in gynecology improve their skills in measurement, with more data statistically similar to those of the tutors at the end of stage and thus the analysis and management of cases of patients who have genital dystopia becomes easier.
