Abstract

This project aims to collaborate with the discussions and reflections on the production of political subjects and subjects of law in relation with processes of state formation. The context analyzed is the emergence of new political subjects within the LGBT movement. These subjects don't conceive they identities only based on sexual orientation and gender identity that composes the LGBT acronym. Beyond those, other social markers of difference as class, race and religion compose the collective identities of these subjects. I also intend to comprehend the use of categories like culture and black tradition, culture of favela, and LGBT culture. The research takes as empirical object three organizations involved in the "field" of the LGBT movement in Campinas: Aos Brados!!, the organizing committee of Padre Anchieta Community Talent Contest and the traditional Candomblé community Inzo Musambu Rainha das Aguas Doces. The methodology of the research is ethnographic combining participant observation, document analysis and in depth interviews. The participant observation, online and offline, will emphasize the activities of each organization. Moreover I intend to follow my interlocutors in local, state and national conferences of public policies. (AU)
