Abstract

This project is a development of my PhD's research titled (in English): "(Re)Making Subjects and rights: dynamics of production of political identities in the LGBT Movement", under the supervision of Professor Regina Facchini. Its main goal is to collaborate with the studies of production of political subjects, production of rights and its relation with the processes of state. The context analysed is the production of new political subjects on the LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) movement. In the case here studied, these identities are not based only on the sexual orientations and gender identities composing the LGBT acronym, but also other social markers of difference like race, class and others. In this research, ethnography is used as main methodological path for data production. Ethnography is complemented here by interviews and document analysis. For the internship research project, the central methodology is review of literature, which is crucial to understand the data produced in fieldwork, in addition to the review of literature, I intend to seek archive material on black LGBT or queer movement, to get comparative material for the Brazilian case. The main goal of internship research is conducting theoretical and methodological update and on the subject studied. As a more specific objective, I intend to seek for comparative literature and material, to be able to understand the processes analysed enlightened by other contexts of emergence of complex political identities in the LGBT movement based not only in gender and sexuality.
