Abstract

It became noticeable, in the last years, the emergence of a new political-cultural scene through the resignification of aesthetics and styles related to Black culture and the mobilization of the body as a central element. Forged within Black LGBT parties, these new forms of action significantly impacted social movements and other groups of parties and cultural productions in the city of São Paulo, enabling the constitution and the strengthening of certain political subjects - such as the "bicha preta" (Black queer)[Eu penso que por se tratar de uma categoria êmica forte talvez seja o caso de deixar o original em português. Eu coloquei Black queer, mas acho que ainda sim não é um termo que consiga nomear suficientemente a bicha preta.] - and professional and/or activist careers with remarkable visibility on the internet and in Black and LGBT spaces of sociability. This project seeks to collaborate with comprehension on the relation between party and politics, claiming the differences that composes the "Black LGBT scene" of São Paulo, and taking as empirical object two parties organized and oriented for a Black LGBT public. The research is based on the ethnographic method comprehending on-line and off-line fieldwork and documental research, complemented with semi-structured interviews. The aim is that the research allows us to reflect on the intertwinements of race, gender, age and sexuality, using as its theoretical standpoint anthropological productions concerned with sociability and sexualities in the domain of sexual and gender diversity, as well as the studies broadly named as intersectionalities.
