Abstract

The building is a continuous activity, which often grows apace. Despite its undeniable benefits to society, the construction is also responsible for great generation of solid waste that are often disposed of improperly and irregularly. In order to study possibilities for the reuse of this waste, in the form of recycled aggregates, several studies have been conducted at UNESP in Ilha Solteira, among which stand out the studies with Plastic Soil-Cement. In early research, using a thin, sandy soil prevalent in over 50% of São Paulo, it was observed that the plastic PSC showed high porosity and low initial resistance, evidencing the need for progress in research in search of better results. Thus, it is proposed in this work to study the addition of microsilica in the PSC produced with recycled concrete aggregate, thus aiming to obtain a compact and stronger material. Characterization tests will be conducted of the material under study, as well as tests for determining resistance and PSC modulus of elasticity over time. Dosages will be studied with 20%, 40% and 60% recycled concrete aggregates, 10%, 15% and 20% cement in relation to total mass. The simple compression tests to determine the elastic modulus will be held at 7, 28, 56, 120 and 240 days. Previous studies have indicated that the PSC continues to gain considerably resistance up to 240 days, which is why it is proposed to test this age. This work will be done in civil engineering laboratory of UNESP in Ilha Solteira-SP. (AU)
