Abstract

Distributed learning algorithms are being used recently to model self-organization in biological systems, such as bird flight formation and fish school feeding. These models are able to reproduce reasonably well the complex behavior observed in nature. Up to now, the proposed models have been discrete-time, that is, they assume that observations and information exchanges occur at periodic intervals. In this work we intend to extend the available results to continuous-time models.
