Abstract

The research project entitled "QUALITATIVE ANALISIS OF THERMAL PERFORMANCE OF WOOD FRAME SYSTEM ACCORDING TO NBR 15575/2013" refers to the theme performance of vertical wall addressed in NBR 15.575/2013. The intention is to evaluate qualitatively some variations of Light Wood Frame system from the thermal point of view. It will be evaluated the thermal adaptation requirement of external walls, as well as the behavior of every wall typology in use condition. It is going to be performed trials in specimens, according to the literature and orientated by the prescriptions in NBR 15.575/2013, with materials that already have a database about thermal aspects. Besides that, it will be performed evaluations in concrete specimens for comparative analysis. The non-usual materials it is going to be submitted to a qualitative and comparative analysis with the others. It's expected that it will contribute for the understanding of the prescriptions in the stablished standards of performance NBR 15575/2013, of the fulfillment of the stablished requirements for this walls. The result of this research will be released in national or international events in the area. (AU)
