Abstract The main objective of the project is the development of a numerical methodology through the finite element methods for the analysis of the friction behavior of assembled lightweight crankshaft bearings. The work is going to begin with the analysis of papers related in the area, followed by the creation of a virtual texturing procedure using Matlab. Next, the ANSYS-Workbench software is going to be used in the analysis of the textured bearings. The following step is going to be the confection of prototypes for the textured bearings using tridimensional printing machines and experimental tests are going to be conducted to validate the experimental results with the numerical results. This project is part of FAPESP Centro de Pesquisas em Engenharia Prof. Urbano Ernesto Stumpf process 13/502383. (AU) | |
