Abstract

Objective is to study the mixed character of the genres of poetry in Portuguese from the sixteenth to eighteenth centuries. By antinomy of the centrality of the concept of gender against the rise of mixed, the study aims to understand how poetic genres mingled in the lyrics of the Old Regime.
