Abstract

With the emergence and improvement of digital media, it is perceived that many independent bands are learning to deal properly with digital media tools using marketing strategies and the current context media to win listeners and spread your product, instead of using traditional media networks. In the pursuit of understanding this current situation, an analysis of the music business changes in recent years is required, conducting a study of the Brazilian independent scene and its relation with the Internet as a propagation device, understanding how it influenced the process of creating small independent labels and independent distributors.
