Abstract

Seeking to contribute to the dissemination of Chemistry and the University, it is being developed Regular Aid FAPESP n. 2014/ 02522-7 in Research Laboratory of Natural Sciences Education (LINECIN). Interactive lectures were developed in partnership with six researchers from the São Carlos Chemistry Institute with the goals of increase the students' interest in science and, more specifically, by Chemistry and help the chemistry community move closer to society, promoting the proposal for their research and results in partnership with science museums so they can be known and discussed in an ethical and transparent manner. Whereas interactivity is a challenge to be achieved in science communication activities, especially in museums and science centers, the aim of this project is to evaluate the interaction of interactive lectures of Chemistry, to be presented to the visitors of the Science Museum "Professor Mario Tolentino" based on Perry (1992). The interactivity of Chemistry lectures will be evaluated by combining qualitative and quantitative strategies, from the use of triangulation methods of questionnaire, semi-structured interviews and field diary with statistical analysis of quantitative data.
